1. Do I have to sign up to buy photos?
Answer: Yes. We need your basic information in order to process orders. This allows you to come back and shop anytime you desire without re-entering your information.
2. What can I do with these files?
Answer: These photos can be used for your website, MySpace, Facebook, emails, avatars, or wherever you might need low resolution images to promote the local area or show your audience the local area. The images are approximately 6 inches wide and 4 inches high and can be re sized to fit your computer application. All images are 600X400 pixels at 72 dots per inch (dpi).
3. Can I print these files to a printed photograph?
Answer: Yes and No. Yes you can print these files, but no, they will not be photograph quality images. In order to print a quality photograph you need 300 dpi images or larger. These files are 72 dpi and sold only for web use. If you need quality prints we suggest you order our color prints online in any size you desire. Our prints are the highest quality available in both glossy and matte finish.
4. What are my rights to these photos?
Answer: The copyright to these photos is held by Cities From Above. When you buy these files you are purchasing the right to use this file for a single person in a single project. That means you do not own the photo, but only the right to use it ONE time. This single-use right cannot be re-sold, copied, or distributed to any other users. Example: You have a real estate website and wish to add some photos of the local area. You download the photo and add to your website. That is the last usage right for that photo. You cannot share the file on any other websites or with any other users. This allows us to maintain the rights to the photo and keep the single use rights at a low cost, otherwise we would need to c harge many times the current price to stay in business.
